Anastasia

Editor in Chief: Anastasia Dawson

Bio: Anastasia Dawson joined The Oracle in 2009 as a news correspondent, covering student government and other campus news. From January 2010 to August 2010 she worked as news editor and was managing editor from August to December 2010. Dawson became editor in chief in December 2010.

Jimmy

Managing Editor: Jimmy Geurts

Bio: Jimmy Geurts joined the Oracle as a freshman in spring 2009 and wrote stories as a correspondent for the Montage section. In summer 2010, he became Montage Editor — a position where he wrote stories on sea monster-seeking professors and traveling typo hunters while managing other writers.

Diedra

News Editor: Diedra Rodriguez

Bio: Diedra Rodriguez is the news editor for The Oracle. She began writing for The Oracle as a correspondent when she entered USF in 2009 as a freshman. Rodriguez became a staff writer, covering Student Government events during the following spring semester and then became the assistant news editor in the summer while interning for the News Chief of Winter Haven, Fla.

Lucas

Photo Editor: Lucas Cannistraci

Bio: In 2009, Lucas began a program in Journalism at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. In the same year he became involved with The Oracle, USF's main newspaper. He began working as an intern and became staff photographer in 2010. He also worked as staff photographer for the Crow's Nest, a newspaper based in the St. Petersburg campus.

Mike

Sports Editor: Mike Manganello

Bio: Mike Manganello first joined the Oracle in the fall of 2008, covering the women's soccer team.  Since then, Mike has covered men's soccer, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball. Prior to being named Sports Editor, Mike also helped cover the USF football team.

Montage Editor: Joe Polito

Bio: Since 2008, Joe Polito has written about anything and everything for the Montage page: from hot professors, to groundbreaking surgeries, to frightening fast food items. In 2009, he created the column "Campus Joe" that featured impromptu interviews at random locations around campus.
