Campus construction projects slated for summer

During the next 10 weeks, several construction projects will begin. The projects are expected to be complete by Fall 2012.
While the first floor of the Library is slated to see a “Jobs Hub” and “Career Corner” added in the lobby, the Library’s second floor has begun renovations to create a “Learning Commons” that will feature more than 300 computer workstations. The project is funded by the Student Tech Fee. Print periodicals and reference materials have been moved to storage and will not be available until renovations are complete. A/V media have been permanently relocated to the sixth floor, newspapers have been moved to the first floor and microform have been moved to the basement.
Communications and Information Sciences Building
The CIS building will undergo classroom refurbishing.
Behavioral Sciences Building
The BEH building will receive renovations to its lecture halls.
Collins Park will feature green space and shaded seating areas for students to relax.
Social Sciences Building
The SOC building will be renovated over the summer.
The College of Education will see a graduate student study suite added.
