When it comes down to it, Bale played a Batman with a sore throat who has fight moves limited to
punches and head butts and a depressed Bruce Wayne.
At 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, Affleck boasts the most potential to face Henry Cavill in the “Man of Steel” sequel.
Affleck, cleft chin and all, certainly has the looks to play Bruce Wayne. His personality can easily fit into the quick witted and clever man that Wayne is. Not to mention his voice couldn’t possibly be as bad as whomever Bale was impersonating.
Taking a look back through Batman history, Affleck would have to be pretty unfortunate, Clooney unfortunate, to mess up the role.
Though Affleck may not be the Batman fans deserve, as many actors are more qualified, Affleck is the Batman fans need right now.
