University Police detains flasher

University Police (UP) responded to a call on Thursday morning regarding a white male exposing himself on campus near the Behavioral Sciences Building.

UP received a call around 10 a.m. and reported to the area. According to a community notification sent by UP, the suspect was in the area and detained quickly.

“The victim positively identified the suspect as the individual whom she observed,” the notification said.

The suspect was detained for trespassing, as he is not affiliated with USF, and for “exposure of sexual organs.”  All charges will be handled by the State Attorney’s Office.

UP is still investigating the possibility that this incident is related to two similar reports from earlier this week. There were also three reports last semester of men on and around campus exposing themselves to female students, none of whom were located.
