Masiello expected to meet with USF this week
Manhattan Jaspers men’s basketball coach Steve Masiello is expected to meet with USF officials sometime this week, according to NBA.com and SNY.tv reporter Adam Zagoria.
Masiello’s name has surged in the past week in conjunction with the USF job and as one of the rising young names in college
coaching with the Marquette and Wake Forest jobs open.
The New York native is a former assistant of Louisville coach and Basketball Hall of Fame member Rick Pitino, who spoke to Masiello on Friday in favor of the USF job, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
