No cause found in Baez complaints
ORLANDO – No probable cause has been found in the complaints against Casey Anthony’s former attorney.
Jose Baez said Monday that the Florida Bar’s grievance committee dismissed all the complaints filed against him while he defended the Florida mother who was acquitted of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.
In a statement, Baez says the grievance committee was fair and thorough in its decision.
Last week, Baez withdrew from Anthony’s case. Her conviction Wof misdemeanor counts of lying to law enforcement is being appealed.
Anthony was acquitted of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee last July. She is now serving probation on an unrelated charge.
