Editor-in-Chief: Ian Lanphier

Bio:

Ian Lanphier began working at The Oracle in fall 2009, covering a range of stories as a news correspondent. As copy chief in spring 2010, he edited and fact-checked stories, as well as managed the paper’s copy staff.
 
Ian is a senior majoring in print journalism who aims to provide the university community with valuable news that can be used to make informed decisions. He views the role of a newspaper as holding government accountable and playing a vital part in helping the public become more knowledgeable. As editor-in-chief, he intends to uphold these critical concepts.
