Big picture predictions
Nominations were released Tuesday for the 82nd Academy Awards ceremony, unsurprisingly dominated
by the best-selling film, ‘Avatar,’ and the theme of war. With several original’screenplays and first time nominees, the ceremony is’shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable in years.
But it’s not so unpredictable that there isn’t speculation. The Oracle makes early predictions for this year’s Oscar champions in some of the popular categories, including ‘Best Motion Picture of the Year.’
