Over 80 gameday arrests, ejections

There were a of total of 86 incidents – 44 arrests and 42 ejections – at the USF vs. Cincinnati football game Thursday night at Raymond James Stadium.

That number is higher than usual, said Barbara Casey, a representative of Tampa Sports Authority, the company responsible for stadium security.

At USF’s last home game against Charleston Southern in August, there were 49 total incidents – 35 arrests and 14 ejections.

Casey said the larger crowd at Thursday’s game could have contributed to the increased number of incidents.

USF sold over 14,000 student tickets setting a school record for the largest student home crowd.
